Hi All;
Just wanted to let you know I think I'm finally finished the long
standing job putting the 1862-3 Oxford Co. directory on my site. It is
situated on my Rootsweb location. This took much longer to finish than
planned. I've also added some of the biographies from the Wellington
Co. Atlas of 1906. More will follow soon I hope. Another ongoing
project is to create a page for Ontario Vital Stats Index entries for
the surnames YORK and YORKE. This page is probably about 3/4 done. It
is sort of a personal project as this name is part of my ancestry, and I
hope maybe putting these records out there will help me connect with
other researchers. It may also help you if either of these names fit
with your genealogy research. There are 1062 entries right now, with
282 births, 396 marriages and 384 deaths recorded.
I'm about to start working on more church register pages, hopefully
to be done over the summer. I'm always looking for new projects so if
anyone has a good genealogy source they can suggest, please do so.
Check out the site map at either location listed below, as there
could be other changes and additions to help you. Bill.
