Good Morning all,

I just joined the list and would like to ask first if you think I
am on the right list for what I seek....

JOHN CUMMINGS was b. about 1855, either in Manhattan
or in Canada (Eng) -- sources vary. His father EDWARD CUMMINGS
was born in Canada (Eng), and his mother ANN BAKER was born in
England. By the 1880 census John and his wife Teresa were in
Manhattan with their 2-year-old son, my husband's grandfather. I
have not found the family in earlier U. S. censuses.

I am seeking anyone with access to Canadian censuses
before 1880 to look up EDWARD and ANN CUMMINGS with son
JOHN b. c. 1855.
