For those of you who have just contacted me to infer that the "Checklist of
Canadian Newspapers held by the National Library of Canada" does not exist
on the National Library of Canada web-site, I am sorry to state that you are
all very incorrect.
I have the site in front of me as I am preparing this reply - and as a
genealogical educator I will suggest to you that you learn from your
mistakes, and try again.
Sorry to be such a stickler about this. Once at this section of the NLC site
you will find an Introduction; An arrangement of the indexes by Province; a
Title Index and Newspaper Title.
The main NLC site was last updated 2002-05-27, and the Checklist of
Newspaper Indexes was last updated 2001-03-27.
Please persevere and keep me posted about your success in finding this
excellent research tool!
