I checked the Canadian Government, geographical name server at
http://geonames.nrcan.gc.ca/english/cgndb.html ,
and found:
- nothing for "Pretty Little Valley", either current, or formerly official
- current listings include a "Little Valley" in MB
- there is a "Pretty Valley" in Sudbury area of Ontario..
(rest of combinations left to you)

Someone tells me a relitive lived in a place called Pretty Little Valley, near Collingwood, does that ring a bell for anyone ? l'd
like to check the 1901 census but do not know where to look. Thanks pat
