Let me throw in my two cents. Remember that the OFCA listings have been made
from tombstone inscriptions. If there was no stone or if there are more
people in the graves than mentioned on the stones, they will not be listed.
If it is an active cemetery, you can write to the cemetery office requesting
a list of burials for a given plot. I did this for a plot in St James
Cemetery Toronto that had no headstone but was listed in cemetery records as
the SWANTON plot. I got back a list of 13 names that had been buried in the
plot between 1850 and 1900, some Swantons, but others as well (BEAMISH,
PULLMAN, KINGSTON, REYCRAFT). Now the task is to figure out the
relationships!
