I found the following information for JOHN CONNER on a FHL microfilm of Index to Warrants:

Warrant #43; A native of the Town of Tralee in the County of Kerry Ireland, just arrived in this Province now of the Town of York; Granted 50 acres; Date of ticket Location - June 6, 1820; Lot NE 1/4 10, Concession 1, Tecumseth. How do I find the full Petition? Previously to this I found two entries in the Ontario Archives Land Record Index for him. The first entry had two dates in the 'Issue Column' May 3, 1820 and June 6, 1820. The June date matches the Date of Ticket Location. What about the the May date? Could it be the date the petition was filed? I have been informed that the '8' in the Date ID column stands for Order in Council and that most probably their would be a petition with personal information. The second entry is listed under JNO CONNOR, the property description is the same. This entry's date is June 22, 1822 and lists the Deed number. I have located this record. Unfortunately researching in person at the National Archives is not an option for me.!
Can anyone help me with this? Thank you in advance.

Rita
