Hi there

My name is Debbie Rowe from St. Louis, MO

My mothers maiden name was Urban. That name is a very frustrating name to
find out about. I guess it as common as Smith is in the US. My grandparents
emigrated here around 1900 - 01 -02 -03, somewhere around in that area.

They came here with selective memory. Nothing was shared with descendants, I
guess they might have been ashamed of their heritage.

So that being said - my grandparents emigrated from a village called Vadovce,
which was next to another village called Kostolne (sp) another tiny village.

Any information I have I am willing to share - get your facts together as far
as who is related to who and I will be glad to share any info (though
sketchy) I have.

The other name I am researching is Miklas, which is my grandmothers maiden
name.

By the way my grandparents names are Jan and Eva Urban. But Jan maybe is
either John or Johann.

Write me back please and let me know what you have found out.
