I am trying to find any information regarding the immigration of my ancestor
Johann Heinrich Stief and his family. He was born around 1730 in Osnabruck,
Germany. I believe he and his family came to Pennsylvania between 1749 and
1761. He is first name might be listed as Johann, Heinrich, or Henry and
variations on the surname include Stieff, Stiefs, and Steeves. His wife's
name was Regina (Rachel) Stallager DeCour and their children were Jacob,
John, Christian, Frederick, Henry, Lutrick, and Matthias. I have been
searching for the immigration of this family for months and would greatly
appreciate any help.
