Hello List:

This is my first usage of this list - hope some of you can direct me
in my research.

Records of East Fallowfield Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania,
indicate that my gggg-grandfather Daniel Miller was one of the first
settlers there in 1792. He was accompied by his wife Mary and at
least one son Michael. Records indicate that he was German.

I'd like to backtrack even further if possible but don't know quite
how to start. Should I try finding ships (and their passenger lists),
that arrived from Europe during a certain time frame?

Any/all recommendations appreciated.
