I have subscribed to this list for information about Immigrants that entered
North America "Prior to 1800." Why is it that I have seen so many emails that
are in violation of this? People born after the year 1800 could not have
immigrated here prior to 1800, so why ask? It defeats the purpose of this
particular list. If those who are looking in the 1900 hundreds or in the
earlier half of the 20th century wish to do so, they can create their own
site and leave those who are interested in only the years "prior" to the year
1800 to go about their own research.

As an aside, a reply addressed to a particular person should be sent to them
and not a list in general.
