ROCHESTER — Harold G. Patterson, 75, of 274 Lowell St., Rochester, died
Wednesday, April 4, 2001, at his home after a period of failing health.
Mr. Patterson was born on Nov. 24, 1925, in Woburn, Mass., the son of
Stephen and Evelyn (Clark) Patterson and had been living in the
Rochester area since 1993, moving from Reading, Mass.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He enjoyed sports and loved
playing the guitar.
Surviving members of the family include his wife, Lillian (Anderson)
Patterson of Rochester; a son, Thomas, and his wife, Carole, Patterson
of Kennebunk, Maine; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Diane) Falwell of
Hampstead, Mrs. Gerald (Arlene) DeFilippo of Burlington, Mass., and Mrs.
Wesley (Donna) Rutledge of Farmington. He also leaves 13 grandchildren,
20 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord,
on Monday, April 9, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held
at 1 p.m. with burial to follow in the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery
in Boscawen, N.H.. Arrangements are under the direction of the H. J.
Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, NH
