Jeannette M. Kallum

LINCOLN — Jeannette M. Kallum, 89, of School Street, died April 22,
2001, at Genesis Eldercare in Laconia.

She was born April 14, 1912, in Fort Edward, N.Y., the daughter of
Perley and Eva (Fontaine) Connery.

Mrs. Kallum resided most of her life in Lincoln. She was a graduate of
Lincoln High School.

She worked in the finishing room at the former Franconia Paper Co. of
Lincoln for 38 years. She also worked as a baker at Loon Mountain for 17
years.

Mrs. Kallum was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 31 of
Penacook.

She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Lincoln. She was an avid
bingo enthusiast and enjoyed gardening, camping and the mountains.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Kallum, who died in 1987, a
brother, Earl Connery, two sisters, Helena Haynes and Marion Wright.

The family includes a son, Richard Kallum of Laconia; two grandsons and
two great-granddaughters; a brother, Donald Connery of Miami, Fla.; two
sisters, Catherine Reardon of Lincoln, and Shirley Carr of Oswego, N.Y.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Church Street,
Lincoln, with Father Roger Bilodeau, pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will
be in Riverside Cemetery, Lincoln.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Laconia Animal Hospital, 3
Maple Street, Gilford, NH 03246.

Fournier Funeral Service of North Woodstock is in charge of arrangements.
