Genevieve Lukasiewicz

BELMONT — Mrs. Genevieve Lukasiewicz, 75, of 9 Heritage Terrace, died at
her son’s home at 357 Brown Hill Road, Belmont, on April 25, 2001.

She was the widow of John Lukasiewicz who died in 1974.

Mrs. Lukasiewicz was born Oct. 6, 1925 in Bayonne, N.J. She was a
longtime resident of Bayonne, moving to Belmont 11 years ago.

Mrs. Lukasiewicz was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church in Belmont.

Survivors include a son, Joseph Lukasiewicz of Belmont; a daughter,
Joanne Materowski of Jackson, N.J.; seven grandchildren, John
Lukasiewicz, Lisa Lukasiewicz, Gina Materowski, James Materowski,
Jonathan Lukasiewicz, Ruth Lukasiewicz and Joey Lukasiewicz; and two
sisters, Hattie Matusiewicz of Bayonne, N.J. and Helen Buczynski of
Holmdel, N.J.

She was predeceased by a son, John Lukasiewicz in 1975; a brother,
Matthew Koczorek and two sisters, Irene Komar and Peggy Bachaski.

She was an outstanding grandmother.

There will be no calling hours.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2001 at 11 a.m. at
the Belmont Baptist Church, Belmont. The Rev. Charles Crook, pastor of
the church, will officiate. Burial will held at a later date in the
family lot in North Arlington Cemetery in North Arlington, N.J.

Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, is in charge of
the arrangements.
