Carl H. Tewksbury Jr.

DUMMER — Carl H. Tewksbury Jr., 80, died April 26, 2001, in Androscoggin
Valley Hospital, Berlin, after a brief illness.

Born in Brentwood on Dec. 7, 1920, he was the son of Carl H. and Albina
(Whitney) Tewksbury. He lived many years in Derry before moving to
Dummer in 1988.

During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.

Before retiring in 1976, Mr. Tewksbury worked for Teamsters Local 633,
Manchester. He worked many years as a truck driver for Hemmingway and
Fulton Trucking, Manchester.

Mr. Tewksbury was a member of Post 2520, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Berlin.

He was married to Eunice I. Tewksbury, who died in 1987.

Family members include his wife, Marion F. (Floyd) Tewksbury of Dummer;
a stepson, Frank Blanchard of Deering; a step-grandchild; two brothers,
Richard Tewksbury of Laconia and Angus McIntyre of Auburn; nieces,
nephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
