Erma Jeanne Livingston Bateman
"I loved my life, but I needed a vacation!"

Our beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma, affectionately known as
"Honey," age 78, passed away July 6, 2003, sur-rounded by her loving
family.
Jeanne was born July 25, 1924 in Holladay, Utah, to U. Stanley
Livingston and Erma A Neilson. Married her sweetheart, VerNon Robert
(V.R.) Bateman, Feb. 9, 1945 in the Salt Lake LDS Tem-ple. Mom has a
deep love for her Father in Heaven. Her beautiful spirit and strong
faith helped her endure to the end.
Mom served in the Primary and extraction programs in the Holla-day 1st
and 10th Wards. She loved to do temple work. Mom used her great sense of
humor and quick wit and help from "V.R." to raise her surviving children
(it wasn't easy!), three sons, Wesley VerNon (Maureen), Robert Terry
(Janet), Ronald Stanley; one daughter, Margie Cutler (Bob). Her greatest
loves and joys are her eight grandkids and 11 great-grandkids.
Survived by her sister Joyce Davis (Richard), sister-in-law Margaret
Livingston, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents,
loving hus-band "V.R.", brother Robert Livingston, sister Barbara Bryner
(Dean).
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2003 at 12:00 noon at
Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr. Friends may call from 6- 8 p.m.
on Thursday evening and from 10:45-11:45 a.m. on Friday prior to the
ser-vice. Interment, Sunset Gardens.
