LEEMKUIL, MRS. WILLIAM
Mrs. William (Jeanette) Leemkuil died Mon. evening, Feb.9,at Memorial
hospital after a long illness.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Zeadow, she was born Jan.11,1886 on a
farm near Ridott,IL. When a small child the family moved to a farm near
Sanborn, IA. where she grew to girlhood. In 1905 she was united in marriage
to William Leemkuil and they made their home at Pecatonica, IL. until 1921
when the family moved to Burlington.
Mrs. Leemkuil was a member of Plymouth Congregational church and
belonged to the Ladies Auxillary.
Survivors are her husband, two daughter, Mrs. Fred Forge and Mrs. John
Hall, both of Burlington; two sons, Wilbur Leemkuil of Burlington and Ray
Leemkiol of Richland Center; eight grandchildren, several brothers and
sisters.
Remains will lie in state at the McCarthy funeral home from 2 o'clock
Wed. to 12 o'clock Thur. Funeral services will be at 2pm Thur. at the
Plymouth Congregational church with interment at Burlington cemetery.
