Edna A. Farrar

SANBORNTON — Edna A. (Hesketh) Farrar, 65, of 91 Bennetts Ferry Road in
Sanbornton, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2001, at Catholic Medical Center in
Manchester following a long illness.

She was born in Pawtucket, R.I., Dec. 12, 1935, daughter of Samuel and
Ethel (Pearson) Hesketh. Mrs. Farrar and her husband moved from
Wallingford, Conn., to Sanbornton 11 years ago.

Prior to her illness, she had been employed at Polyclad Inc. in Franklin.

Her family includes her husband of more than 47 years, Harold E. Farrar
of Sanbornton; three sons, Ralph S. Farrar of Nashua, Keith H. Farrar of
Ossipee, and Mark E. Farrar of Meriden, Conn.; five grandchildren

There are no public calling hours. A graveside service will be held
Sunday at 2 p.m. in Calais Cemetery, Calais, Maine. Officiating will be
the Rev. Nancy Huntington, pastor of the Calais United Methodist Church.
Burial will follow. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American
Lung Association, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit #12, Bedford, NH 03110.

The William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home of Tilton is in charge.
