A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, in Somerset
Christian Church in Beaverton for John R. LEGGETT, who died Dec. 2 at age
88.

Mr. LEGGETT was born Jan. 21, 1917, in Greenville, N.C.. He graduated from
Georgia Tech and was a mechanical engineer for Rush Engineering for about 30
years. He moved to the Beaverton area in 1972. In 1941, he married Jean
BRIDGES; she died in 1993.

Survivors include his son, John; daughter, Janet HEISINGER; sisters, Margie
JACKSON and Mavis PEELE; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
