Name: James W. Bonner

James W. Bonner, Jr., age 68, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, October 4,
2005 in a local hospital.

Mr. Bonner was born January 28, 1937 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a
lifetime resident of Texarkana. He was retired Customer Service Manager for
Texana Tank Car Inc. He was a member of Nash Church of Christ, an Elder in
the Church for twenty-nine years. His grandparents, Paul and Nora Blocker
established the Nash Church of Christ.

His parents, Butch and Maxine Borcherding, and one nephew, John Borcherding,
preceded him in death.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie Bonner of Texarkana, one son and
daughter-in-law: James III and Janet Bonner of Redwater, Texas; one brother:
Jerry Borcherding of Buda, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law: Patsy and C.
L. Elkins of Pecos, Texas; Jo Ella Dixon of Houston, Texas; two
grandchildren: Chase Bonner and Cabe Bonner both of Redwater, Texas; three
nieces: Jana O'Banon and husband, Andrew, and their baby, Rebekah, of San
Marcos, Texas; Jana Holubec & husband, Cole, of Melvin, Texas and their
baby, Kenze; Lyndall Ling & husband, Jeff, of Temple, Texas; two nephews:
Jeff Borcherding & wife Alissa, and baby Abigail, of San Marcos, Texas and
David Elkins of Pecos, Texas and a number of friends and relatives.

Jim attended school at the old Nash school, graduated from Texas High in May
1954, and was elected to the National Honor Society. Jim's passion was his
work for the Lord and his family. Jim was known for his patience, his
gentleness, humility and devotion to his church and family. Jim played
softball in his "younger" days, was one of the best fast pitch "hurlers"
around and was recruited by American Fast Pitch Baseball Association.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A. M. Friday at the Nash Church of Christ
with Joe Chase officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens
under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Lunch will be served at Nash
church of Christ .

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from
6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P. M.
