Robert A. Wallace Sr., 73 years of Monroe, Michigan passed away May 3, 2006
at 1:00 AM in Mercy Memorial Hospital where he had been for 2 days. He had
been in poor health for 10 years.

Bob was born October 20, 1932 in Detroit, MI. the son of the late Arthur and
Grace (Lennox) Wallace. Bob served his country as a Corporal in United
States Army from June 22, 1953 until May 21, 1955. Stationed at Fort Knox,
Bob played for the Army baseball team. On November 22, 1976 Bob married
Roberta M. Watros in Las Vegas, NV. Bob worked as a Newspaper Circulator for
various newspapers until retiring in 1989. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed
watching the Lions, Red Wings and University of Michigan Football. He also
enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers where he once worked as an usher at
Tiger Stadium. He coached youth football in the 1950's and 60's and enjoyed
playing softball.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife Roberta; 2 sons; Robert A. Wallace Jr.
of Reseda, CA. and Dan C. (Janet) Wallace of Dexter, MI. 1 daughter; Kathy
G. (Roy) Mutter of Onsted, MI. 3 step daughters; Theresa M. (Chris) Barnhart
of Kalamazoo, MI., Yvonne May (Donald) Rylander of St. Petersburg, FL. and
Suzan A. (Ronald) Barnhart of Lady Lake, FL. 2 brothers; Charles (Barbara)
Wallace of Apopka, FL. and Donald (Joyce) Wallace of Flat Rock, MI. 15
grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Robert's family will receive friends at the Bacarella Funeral Home on
Friday, May 5, 2006 from 12 noon until 2:30 PM when a memorial service
celebrating his life will be held the eulogist will be Bob's brother Charles
Wallace. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes
Association.
