Ocala - Martin Wilson McCants, Sr., 83, passed away on February 25, 2008 at
Ocala Regional Medical Center. He was a retired Assistant Principal at the
Marion County School Board. Mr. McCants served in the U.S. Navy. He leaves
to cherish his memories: (Daughters) Rebecca McCants, Cheryl M. Wesley
(Don), Martin Wilson McCants, Jr., Alvin G. McCants, Sr., (Jo Ann) all of
Ocala, Florida, Glenn O. McCants, Tampa, FL (Sister) Vernon Castel McCants
Edwards, Ocala, FL., 31 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral
service for Mr. McCants will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at
St. Paul AME Church. Rev. Joy Gallmon, Pastor. Interment will follow in
Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday at SUMMERS
FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. "A SUMMERS service makes a
difference"
