Esse and list,

The NC or AB has never asked us pledge funds or suggested that we do so.

We have not asked the AB or NC to do anything, we were willing to secure the
trademark for the project and figure out how to manage it later.

Joe had a good idea and we went along with it to pledge sufficient funds to
cover the costs. More than one of us considered the advisability of, based
on past performance,
of keeping the board out of the immediate process of legally securing the
mark.

Nothing was said about using the funds for anything other than securing the
trademark, USGenWeb..........in other words, nothing was said about
challenging Linda over her application for The mark for The USGenWeb
Archives.
