XIV, 2 - "...or may be proposed by the Grievance Committee for approval by
the Advisory Board."
XIV, 3 - The second sentence needs a word like "subsequently" or
"thereafter," and the Committee can't appoint members if the Board has to
approve them. All the Committee can do is recommend people for appointment
or present them for approval.
XIV, 4 - The word "timely" by itself is too vague, imo. Some definition of
what timely means under ordinary circumstances would be helpful to everyone
involved.
XIV, 5 - and if someone doesn't comply? What authority does the AB have to
enforce a decision?
XIV, 6 - "actions by [not under] the national GC or by [not of] a local
grievance..."
XIV, 6(2) - not loose, but lose. If I read it correctly, the last sentence
effectively takes away much of the "protection" offered the defendant in the
first sentences.
XIV, 6(3) - As I said before, I think the statement could and should end
with the word "grievance." I believe Alice and perhaps Scott agreed.
However, if you aren't going to end the sentence there, then the final
phrase needs to read "such as being a witness, etc."
