I think a "scope of position" is very desirable. In my opinion it
should specifically include:

Understanding what the bylaws say about the EC responsibilities
Understanding any internal procedures the EC has in place
Ensuring that internal procedures are consistent with the bylaws
Ensuring that discussions/actions by the EC are consistent with the
bylaws and EC procedures
Bringing any election related problems that surface to the attention of
the AB
Seeking input from the EC on AB discussions that relate to elections
Seeking input from the AB on any current EC matters

Since our NC has served as EC chair, I'd like to hear what she believes
this liason should do. I'd also like to hear what the current EC chair,
Shirley Cullum believe the AB representative should be doing.
