I don't think I ever added anything to the "chat"--I apologize to
everyone for that.
The EC is a subcommittee of the AB & I DO think we need this role clarified.

IMO their role should include:
Ensuring the EC follows the EC procedures
Seek input from the EC on AB items that concern the elections/EC
Relate questions & answers between the AB & EC

I know there's more, but these were the 1st things on my mind before I
run-off to take care of some "real" things. <g>
