Hi Bettie et al,
I personally see no problem with logos of other organizations that promote
FREE access to genealogical and historical information. Both the American
History and Genealogical Project and the American Local History Network
share this philosophy and I believe it is a benefit to the researchers to
direct them to those organizations as well as to our own sites.
As has been pointed out on numerous occasions, are efforts are directed
toward providing as much FREE genealogical information as possible for the
benefit of the researchers. That's what we do and that's what they do. We
are not in competition with them, we complement each other.
Any reluctance I have about logos and links is reserved for those that
route the researchers to organizations that will charge them for information.
