Hi Darilee,
I entirely understand - been there, done that - sigh. I appreciate your
willingness to share, it serves to further underscore the unanimous vote
so that there can be no question regarding those who for whatever reason
were not able to participate in the vote.

I'm wading through 248 messages from yesterday. 31st May. I have
even more than that for the 30th. I got behind last Monday... my 25mg
mailbox has been 96% full all week.
Yes, I do get confused... I raised 3 daughters and a son and
survived the 60's. I have 6 operating braincells and they are currently
busy on that breathing thing...
Motion 4-14... It was written by one of the best Motion writers we
have... and it is accurate and well thought out. I hesitated. I would
have voted Yes. For one reason only... the dismissals of the
"disgruntled" CC's who did not have any recourse and the apparent
copyright violation.
Thank you Jana for helping me review my thinking process...
because while this note is a bit trite... I did think about my answer
long and hard... I am very unhappy that this action was taken but it
is appropriate.
Respectfully
Darilee

Um, Motion 04-14 was about the GA situation.... Motion 04-13B regards
the proposed revisions and is still on the table.

I personally dislike the current by-laws...
I also support the works of the by-law committee
I thought the motion to return the by-laws to committee for work and
state support was a stalling effort.
I would have vote No.
I strongly believe in majority wins and regret not voting.
I do support breaking the bylaws down into individual components and
allowing a CC vote

Hi Darilee,
I saw your post about being away - do you care to share what your vote
would have been on motion 04-14?

Harold said: "I was not aware that Georgia CCs had had two thirds of the
CCs
file a complaint and it had not been recognized by the NC."
This is a totally incorrect statement. There were no grievances filed
with the AB against the leadership of Georgia in nearly a year... then
just recently that
leadership took it upon themselves to dismiss several CC's using
"disgruntled"...
Truly. There would have been no action taken against the leadership of
Georgia until they went for lack of better words "bonkers" and dismissed
CC's on whims.
The copyright issue is of major concern. Again. It was the leadership of
Georgia that acted.
Yes the NC and the AB were slow to publicly acknowledge the dismissals.
We were listening to the "vocal' Georgoia CC's and information has been
exchanged since their dismissals.
Why Georgia and not North Dakota... I'm not sure. Perhaps it's the way
the
state is structured.
Regards
Darilee
