Merope,

I will answer this one since no one else can answer this better than I
do, after all I am the one who had the banner made.

The problem is the #2 logo was not replicated at all. No bmp image file
exists for use in the banner. First choice is NOT usable at all due to
number of lines used in it, when enlarged it showed too much jagged
edges and very UNpresentable.

The solution was after considerable search by the company making the
banner, and that included me hunting for it.

We already contacted Julie who designed the #2 logo as shown on website,
bmp file doesn't exist, only for website.

The replacement was found and it is almost identical, with the bald
eagle added which was already included in bmp file for the squared flag.
The company was able to merge two bmp files, both bald eagle/flag and
the outline of USA into a single bmp file and got the best. The flag you
see is of a photograph of both eagle and flag, not an artist rendering.

And had to lighten up the blue background to be truly presentable.
Website version is of very dark blue background and has shadow in it.

The banner costed almost 200 dollars because it included 60 dollars
labor per hour. Would have costed us 2 hours of labor but the owner
waived one hour because I sat with them hunting for the bmp file.

The company explained that anything designed originally made for
websites are not scalable at all.
