NEVADA

Nye County Cemetery

Ben Gibson of Las Vegas went to Beatty, Nevada and to Rhyolite, 

Nevada (Nye County) and photographed both cemeteries in his 

quest for his Eagle rank in the Boy Scouts.

I have just finished posting his pictures for Rhyolite on the 

Nevada Tombstone website, at

and Rhyolite are approximately 125 miles North of Las Vegas.  

We are truly greatful that Ben was able to capture some of the 

deteriorating tombstones and some of its history for genealogists
