My SMOCK family was all over. Here is the info as I know it.

Samuel SMOCK born ca 1861 in Iowa. Father/mother unknown. Fathers name may
be Samuel also born in IL or IN.
1870 may be in MO, IA or NE.
1880 may be in MO IA or NE
1890 same as above. Married Charlotte Matilda NESTOR around this time. She
was born in IOWA and raised in NE.
1900 ?????
1910 and 1920 I have census info on them in Los Angeles, CA.
I would certainly appreciate any help you can provide. Samuel SMOCK was/is
hard to trace. I am told he never spoke of his parents and left home as a
young boy. I am not assuming anythin though. I wish I could find out his
parents names also. If you reply please reply at this is my
home email. All of my records and family tree info are at home so it makes
it easier to to obtain my info
Let me know if you need any more info. There were 4 children born to Samuel
and Charlotte SMOCK.

I have been checking some of my census indexes for your Smock Family. I
need to know which
census years you currently have and for what states. I think I have found
your family in
1860-70-80-1910 & 1920. I will post the results of my searches in a later
post, but do not
want to duplicate your research.
