NEW WEEKDAY AFTERNOON GENEALOGICAL CLASSES STARTING NEXT WEEK

The Utah Valley PAF Users Group announces the starting dates of
additional courses starting in the coming weeks.

The following two courses will be taught on Tuesday and Thursday
afternoons from 4:00 to 5:30 pm in the LDS meetinghouse at 4000 North
Timpview Drive (650 East) in Provo for the designated number of classes for
each course:

PAF II Course (6 classes)
11, 13, 18, 20, 25 and 27 February
This is an intermediate level course for those who are already family
with the basics of using Personal Ancestral File (PAF). It will focus
on using the latest release, Version 5.2.18. The 6 class titles are:
1. Cleaning Up Your Database -- Why and How
2. Entering Notes, Sources, and Document Images
3. Reports, Custom Reports, Web Pages, and Tools
4. Importing and Exporting Data and Comparing Two Databases
5. Changing Columns, Templates, Fonts, and Events
6. Photos, Slide Shows, and Scrapbooks in PAF

TempleReady Course (3 classes)
4, 6 and 11 March
This series of classes will teach you basic and advanced techniques in
making your Personal Ancestral File (PAF) identifying information
consistent.
We will take you through the now automated process of putting temple
ordinance data into your PAF database. It will also focus on what you
need to do to avoid duplication of ordinances.

1. Getting Your PAF Database Ready
2. Getting Completed Ordinance Data into Your PAF Database
3. Submitting Names to the Temple Using TempleReady for Windows
