HYDE PARK

Orma Adella Christensen Thurston, 85, died Sunday, July 12, 1987, at Sunshine Terrace.

She was born July 29, 1901, in Hyde Park, a daughter of Lars and Hannah Marie Petersen Christensen. She married Orion James Thurston on Nov. 26, 1924, in the Logan LDS Temple. He died April 19, 1970.

She attended school in Hyde Park. She was an active member of the LDS church, having served as music director, organist, ward ladies chorus, ward and stake singing mothers, ward and stake Primary chorister, ward librarian, ward historian, member of the Relief Society and a visiting teacher.

She was a retired Cache County deputy recorder. She also was a member of the William Hyde Camp-Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed poetry, handwork, genealogy scrapbooks and penmanship...(obit cut off)
