Seeking information on CHRISTIAN, Prell. This person was found on the 1880
census index in Amherst, Va. Prell was age 35 his wife Jenney was 32, both
were listed as Mulatto. My great-grandfather Norvell was one of his
youngest sons. Norvell later moved to PA. and was married to Ruth Mabel
CARTER.

CARTER, Ruth Mabel, I found a CARTER family, possibly Ruth's parents in
Pittsburgh, Pa living near Norvell and Ruth. They were listed as colored
however, family tells me Ruth was part Native American.
