Lottie R. Chaffin was born 1874 in Bedford County, VA, the
daughter of William H. Chaffin and Emeline (Emma) L.
Overstreet Chaffin.
She married Reathy M. Patterson in 1893 in Bedford County.
She was about 19 years old.
I found them in the 1900 census in Bedford County.
Now it gets complicated.
She also married Thomas E. Crouch and Ralph Edgar Arthur
(her sister's husband)...but I don't know when she married
them. I am hoping census records will give me a clue, at
least the decade in which she married them.
I think Reathy Patterson was her first husband, since she
was 19 years old when she married him. I don't know which
husband came next.
