Found a John in Walkers Creek 1930 however 66, 10 yrs too old, so went back
in time. (Malvin looks like Melvin, and did see a Melvin in Rockbridge in
the 1920).

John is listed as 36 and Jerusha is 35 in the 1900..so perhaps this 1930 is
him after all.

Age: 66, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: VA
Series: T626 Roll: 2458 Page: 208

John N/W. Davis 66 Wd VA PA VA Farmer/general farmer
William C/E?. 20 S VA VA VA

There appears to be the same John M/W in the 1910, 2nd marriage, with a son
William C. 2/12.
