Sorry, my previous email went off before I had a chance to fill in the
information.

Unfortunately the census records before 1850 only give the name of the
head of household, so if Joseph wasn't married until 1813, he most likely
would still be at home with his parents and only his father's name would be
listed in the 1810 index.

In 1820 he would be abt. 33 yrs. old which would put him in the 26 to 45
age group column on the census page. There are 4 results showing for
Joseph PRICE in the 1820 index. Two of them are in the over 45 age group
and the other two fit the 26-45 age group. Since the wife's name isn't
given,
I have no way of knowing for certain if either of these guys is your Joseph.

Joseph Price was born near Fredericksburg in 1787. I hve looked at the
census for Spottsylvania Co. and could't find him in 1810. He was married there
in 1813 but I have not been able to find him anywhere in Virginia. Would sks
please look him up and make this old lady happy? He married Anna Clements.
They went to
Fayette Co., Pa. before the children were born. I sure would appreciate
some help.
