If she was exposed to TB by husband Walter Carroll
(the name you gave on another forum) - may have died
early on and before the SSDI shows here but there is
a Lucille Carroll who died in Roanoke in January
1988 but was born 1907. There were 3 that showed up
who had cards issued in Virginia and none fall
within your year range given. One was found died in
Michigan also in 1988 but born 1919.
There is also a Walter Carroll listed died October
1967 in Salem, VA area (near Roanoke)and born 1903.
Possibly this Walter Carroll died near Roanoke and
Lucille died in Roanoke are who you are looking for
- just born a little earlier than you thought? Seek
out their obits to find out.
I would call this agency and find out if/where a
clinic may have been and how to find out:
