Valuable Property
The subscriber having lately exchanged his property in Staunton for a tract of land near that place, now wishes to sell or rent for two or three years, a valuable farm lying on both sides of the middle-river, on the main road leading from Staunton to Jenningss Gap, about six miles from each place, containing 325 acres, including a Mill Seat, supposed to be as valuable as any other in the county of Augusta.
This farm is now in good condition for raising crops, there being at the least 90 acres of cleared land, 35 of which have been cleared within the last two years, & the balance, except a few acres, is river low grounds.
The improvements are, an apply orchard, good dwelling-house, Kitchen, Barn, Stables & Cornhouse, there are also two cabins, either of which a small family can live in.
Any person wishing to purchase such property will on application, find the price reasonable and the payments made easy; or it will be rented to any person who can work three or four good hands and come well recommended. Possession of the whole, or a part of the premises will be given the purchaser or tenant, in time to put in the next fall crop.
