Are you familiar with BOTTOM'S BRIDGE which is off of Rt. 60 near Henrico
County?
It is an old and well-known landmark.
I don't think it is in Henrico COunty, perhaps it is in James City
County....no, I don't think so. I think it is further north than James City
County. I think it is in New Kent County and when I was a child (in the
1950's) traveling with my family from Newport News to visit my grandparents
in Henrico County on their farm on Rt. 5, we would turn off of Rt. 60 when
we got to BOTTOM'S BRIDGE and take a country road that would lead us to Rt.
5.
Are you familiar with that spot? It is still there and still quite rural.
