Hello Everyone,

>From a subscriber to this list about two years ago I received a rough working
manuscript document on the Baugh family. Well....I have the document but I
don't have the accompanying email and I'd like to get in touch with that
person.

The first paragraph reads (dashes are included in the text):

"William Baugh I (bold). "The Immigrant"..b. 1610, Gloucestershire, England,
d. 4/1/1687, Henrico Co....arrived in Virginia abt. 1638...Will probated
1687, Henrico VA..... m 1)???, in England.......2) Virginia Elizabeth Parker
Sharpe in VA......3) ???Womack???? in VA....since baby was born in England
and came over with Wm...and was counted as a headright when Wm. I applied for
his land grants....need to find the passenger list and see if the 1st wife
came or died in route...."

Of course, always willing to "talk" to any Baugh researcher.

My line is.Wm Baugh>??????>?????>John Baugh d. 1761, intestate Chesterfield
Co VA, wife Mary>John Baugh, d. 1804/5 Powhatan & wife Anne
EGGLESTON>Archibald Bolling Baugh & Caroline E. WASH, d/o Lipscomb Wash and
Elizabeth SAUNDERS,d/o Rev John Hyde Saunders and Rachel BENTLEY. Lipscomb
Wash is the son of Thomas Wash and Mary LIPSCOMB. Rachel Bentley is the
daughter of Samuel Bentley and probably Mary WELDON. Mary Lipscomb is the
daughter of Thomas LIPSCOMB and Sarah MACKGEHEE/MCGEHEE.

Archibald Bolling "Bolling" and wife Caroline moved from Amelia Co to
Lawrence Co MO in 1838, where their son and my Wm Eggleston/Edward Baugh
married another Amelia Co family descendant, Letsey SHELTON, d/o second
cousins Moses Hurt Shelton and Nancy Clark Shelton. Some of the other
VA-Southside names associated in my direct line with these Sheltons: WALLER,
ROBERTSON, CARR, WINSTON, SHEPARD, COLEMAN, COOPER, ANTHONY, CLARK, JOHNSON.
