Thanks for the info for Halifax Co. websites So far, I don't find info of
genealogical interest--probably because my folks were on the move to
Granville Co. North Carolina--Halifax was a stopover!

In case you have NOT searched the deed books of Lunenburg Co., VA (many of
which have been transcribed and published by TLC Genealogy, Miami Beach), you
will find all these surnames in Lunenburg Co. in the time period 1746-1795.
