We're looking for the parents of Lewis F. Lanham, b. abt 1794 in Amherst
County. He married Agnes Saunders on Oct. 9, 1815 in Nelson County. They
had 8 children: Mary Ann, Sarah, William H., Charlotte, James M., Richard,
Joseph F., and Nancy M. Mary Ann and possibly Sarah was born in Nelson,
the rest of the children were born in Kanawha County, VA (WV). Lewis died
Feb. 10, 1870. His wife's parents were John and Sarah Saunders.
