The books I mentioned were written by REv. Bailey Fulton Davis. I was happy to do a look up: In the Wills of Amherst Co 1761-1865 I found: on page 355 guardian bonds for orphans of William Tiller deceased -- Betsy Ann, with Calm Seay and James D. Watts, March 19, 1832; Lucy Jane with Charles H. Christian, Samuel Christian and Samuel R. Davies on 15 Dec. 1823, and then John Alcock, Peyton Keith and Jacob Scott for Alcock as guardian on 19 Aug. 1824; Sophia with Charles H. Christian as guardian, 19 Aug. 1824.
Guardian accounts by Richard Landrum as guardian of Miss Sophia and Miss Eliza Tiller from Dec. 21, 1830; cash to Camm Seay, Jan. 30, 1835; Lindsey Coleman and Robert Patrick on the committee.
William Tiller, Will Book 5, page 183 -- administrators bond for William Tiller and David S. Garland, Oct. 19, 1812 for Willial Tiller. Inventory Book 5, page 196 $12; Dec. 30, 1812 Thomas Apling, James Tyree, Joseph Kennedy

Guardians bond 15 Dec. 1823 for John Alcock as guardian of William, Richard and Elizabeth Ann Tiller, orphans of William Tiller.
Book 6, page 542 inventory $747. 43; bill of injunction by Charles H. Christian -- slave, John, sold 21 Jan. 1824 to Alcock. Eighty acres bought by Richard Landrum; bondsmen: Charles H and Samuel D. Christian. Charles H. Christian bought the slave, John; bondsmen: Samuel D. Christian and Richard London for $570. REcorded 21 Feb. 18225.
Book 7 Page 104 Administrators Account by Alcock from 31 March 1816 Mrs. Christian, late widow of Tiller; tuition to George W. Higginbotham; for picking cotton -- 367 pounds; clothing and schoolsing for Betsy Ann Tiller, infant daughter of William Tiller; school books for children; tuition to William Blair. Charles H. Christian and Wife, Frances, late widow of Tiller. 19 Nov. 1827.
I looked through the Deeds of Amherst Co., VA 1807-1827 Books L-R and there is quite a bit on William and William Jr. If this is the right family, e-mail me and I will send you more information.
