Looking for information on Jabez Davis, who lived in Amherst and Nelson Co. His father may have been Philip Davis. His wife's was named Christiana (possibly an Allen). His daughter Mariah married Thomas Harris and they lived in Rockbridge Co., this is my line. If anyone else is researching this line I would like to hear from you. Jabez was probably born around 1764.
