Thanks for the reply Marcy! Since my first message I have learned a little more about Nathaniel Tyree who married Sally Childress, Nov. 01, 1811 Amherst Co., VA... He married second, Nancy Childress, Dec. 17, 1819 in VA... He is said to have died in Oklahoma. There are three known children: William H. Tyree, b. 1827; Andrew Jackson Tyree, b. 1832; and Richard C. Tyree, b. 1844..

My ancestor is not the Nathaniel Tyree, listed above. My 3x great Grandfather was Nathen Tyree, b. 1793 VA., d. ca 1854 LaClede Co., MO., his wife is unknown. His children were: Martin E. Tyree, b. 1818; William Tyree, b. 1820; Andrew Jackson Tyree, b. 1822; Sarah Tyree, b. ca 1824; Rhoda Tyree, b. 1826; and Lucinda Tyree, b. 1828...

Suspect Nathen Tyree and Nathaniel Tyree were probably cousins?? This is only suspect and have no proof. Any further information on either Nathan/Nathaniel Tyree families would be appreciated.
