I don't know if this is the Lynch Creek that you are looking for or not but you might want to check it out.

Lynch Creek starts in Greene County (just north of Albemarle County) and flows through Shady Grove and southwest of Brokenback Mountain. It flows into Albemarle county and through Nortonsville (near Harris Mountain).

I found this creek in the Virginia Atlas & Gazetteer published by DeLorme.
