Thank you for you inquiry. You have the right John Campbell. He was born about 1750 and died 29 Jan., 1838 in Amherst Co., VA. His daughter Nancy was born about 1782 or 83 and died before March, 1821. She married Benjamin Wright in amherst Co. on 12 Feb., 1805. They had 8 children. He married Dicey Campbell, Nancy's cousin on 19 March 1821 in Nelson Co. and had 14 children from this marriage. All of these families are discussed in my book with references of documentation. I proved John Campbell's service in the Rev. War for my membership in the DAR. Let me know if you are interested in the book. sc
