Can anyone help me with this couple?

James Duff b abt 1846 probably Amherst.
He married M A Mason abt 1865 Amherst probably.I have been unable to find a
marriage in Rockbridge where they were living in 1900.Their daughter Ida Jane
Duff was born in Amherst about 1875.She married William Yew 2-3-1892 in
Rockbridge Co.

I don't know who James' parents were.I have a feeling that his father may
have been
Jeremiah Duff. Jeremiah had a James who is the right age to be the one we are
looking for.Jeremiah was the son of Margaret Virginia Duff.

I found james by accident while looking for William Yew.Ida had a son Early
Yew who was living with James and M A Duff along with his father
William.Problem is the census is too dark to read the info on the first
page.It is at the bottom and is all dark.I can't make out James and Mary
(Margaret) ages or births.I can't read the first two children well either.I
believe they are William and Granville.If anyone has a clearer copy, I would
appreciate knowing what it says.I would also like to know who James' parents
were.
I have already posted children of James and M A Duff a day or so ago.
