I am interested in your Duncan/Bibb connection and would
like to learn more if you would be willing to share. My gggg-
grandfather was Fleming Hall Duncan (1773-1826) who
had a few children who were married to Bibbs. Fleming
and his father, John Duncan Jr., were Baptist ministers in
Amherst Co. (as well as were others in the family.) Devroux
Gillam is mentioned as being a member of John's church
back in the 1770s. Would love to learn more about those
early Amherst County families.
