Looking for information on William C. Dodd born appx. 1817 and Married Malinda Skaggs in 1840. I have a copy of his marriage certificate in 1887 when he married again as a widdower to Sarah Jarvis in Roane County W.Va. It says he was born in Amherst County Virginia but I have no information on his parents. We first thought his parents were John Dodd and Sarah Stone of Botetourt County but pretty sure that is not the case. Any info is greatly appreciated.
